   Hi,

I received this query from a friend that I am requesting more info on:
   - His PRC is expiring in less than a month.
   - He needs and has made arrangements for travel to his home country in the middleast.
   - He applied for expedited PRC renewal, which is now delayed, because they have requested certified copies and translations for all passports, and immigration entry/exit records?
   - He has satisfied his residency obligations and his citizenship application is supposed to be in process (i.e. satisfied requirements for that, too).  He believes he is being scrutinized because of long records of unemployment (i.e. not much to show for in that regard).

   - How to get the immigration entry/exit records, and how quickly can it be done?
   - If he takes his trip, and return two days before the expiry of his current PRC. Will he be grilled at the airport in CA (or at every airport he passes through) because of that, despite the fact its legal to do that?

   Any feedback based on experience?
