Hi there,

I have a question, I have a canadian PR card that is valid until January 2012. I landed in Canada in 2007 and stayed for one day only and never went back since then. I am required to go to Canada for work with my company (US company) but I am not sure if it will be ok for me to travel using the PR card I currently have or will I need a visa ?

I did not, and now can not meet the requirement of living in Canada for 2 or 3 years (not sure) out of five because my PR card will expire in one year and I never lived there. Will I need a visa or is it ok since my PR is still valid ?

I can't help you with your question, but if you don't get replies here try posting your question in the Permanent Residency Obligations folder under Settlement issues. Include your country of origin if it's not US as it is unclear from your post. Good luck. Allison
