Hello !

My parents visitor visa application is going back and forth with medical insurance and coverage queries

The 2 problems we have right no are

1) Travel period was given as 8 months in the visa application, but no company gives more than 6 months coverage. So we've bought 6 month insurance, but now CIC has asked for complete 8 month insurance proof, although i mentioned in a cover letter that ICICI provides 6 months, and can be extended based on stay. What can be done in this case ? Should i send them a letter explaining again, and if they want, they can issue just a 6 month visa !

2) My parents were asked to get a medical test, and my mum's mild diabetes has been highlighted in that. They want the medical insurance proof to clearly state that diabetes will be covered! Travel insurance companies seem to cover pre-existing consitions only if they are life threatening..

Any advise anyone !? Thanks !

Wonder if you can buy the insurance from two companies with different coverage periods, say Company A for Feb to Aug and Company B for Sept to Oct
