Greetings,

Can you kindly let me know about the eligibility criteria and procedure for getting a canadian travel document. Where the application should be made and for how long it is issued.

HI

there are many ways that may allow you to get the candian visa
but each type of application may take a specific time
if u want to save ur time i advise you to apply through the provincial nominee program
you can get more information by visting the candian immigration site

If the OP is enquiring about a travel document, rather than Permanent REsident status, and s/he is a resident of Canada, s/he should check out the following: http://www.ppt.gc.ca/td/index.aspx?lang=e

A travel document is a status document issued by a government or international league, organization to facilitate the movement of individuals or small groups of persons across international boundaries. If you are not a U.S. citizen, you may need permission to return to the United States after traveling abroad. This permission is granted through a travel document.
