Translator affidavit for canadian immigration

Dear All,

This is my first time to join this kind of forum. Actually I have applied for canadian immigration on 06/10/2006, well still waiting. Now i am in the process of compiling my all documents. Can anybody let me know the following queries who has or had done his/her documents.

1. Is translator (who will translate my urdu documents in english) affidavit is mandatory for Can. immigration. What are the requirements invloved.
2. Is it possible if you can send (anyone one of your document translated into eng, translator affidavit and notarised person confirmation) me the scan copy on my email id mehdi @ maxmedia.com.pk.
I would be highly apperciated if you help me out

translator affidavit is not compulsory but you must notarise the translation. if you can get an affidavit that is good but not necessary. translator also needs to stamp the translation with his name and affress.

which city are you  based?? if you are in islamabad i can give you address of one good translator

for translation u dont nid to do on affidavit.... you can translate NIC,Birht cert,Marriage cert from certified translators (in karachi u can find some near foreign affair office shahrah-e-faisal thay may charge 100-150 PKRS) and just notarize it.
