Hello,

I'm preparing of all required documents and I need to translate the police certificates. According to the applications package three things are required:

- Translation to english or french.
- An affidavit form the person who completes the translation.
- A certified copy of the original document (needs to be certified by a notary public).

Did you follow all this guidelines? do I need a certified translation o notarized translation? There are certified translators that belong to an association, however they don't have the affidavit. d

How did you send your documents?

Thanks for your help.

I expressed this concern to my translator, and she assured me that what she provided would be enough for CIC. She's a member of ATIO. Though I haven't gotten IA notice yet so I'm hoping she wasn't lying Tongue

As per my knowledge if it is not recommended the notarized or certified translation than no need to do that and if it is asked than you have too. I will follow the instructions carefully.
