Hi,

Can anyone suggest how to do translation of arabic documents and
make a affidavit for them.

If your in DUBAI, then go to HORLANZE AREA, opposite KARACHI DARBAR restaurant, you will find many TRANSLATORS.

but as per cic guide it says you must give affidavit for any document which
you have translated so how to give affidavit for the documents .

The "affidavit" is already given by the certified translator as a part of the certified translation process, and even included in the price.

After you are done the translation, take the same copy of the original  document which he translated and stamped, and get it stamped by a notary public in your area. That is it. So it will have 2 stamps; the certified translator stamp, and the notary public stamp, both are in the same document.


I mean by "same copy of the original  document which he translated and stamped" the following, for example if the translated document was a birth certificate, the translator is gonna make a photocopy of it, stamp, date, and attach it to the translation whith his affidavit. So get this photocopy stamped by the notary public as well.
