Some of our letters from friends supporting the genuity of our relationship are in Korean. Is it necessary to get certified true translations for them or will it suffice if we translate them ourselves? I think I read somewhere what to do with supporting documents in foreign laguages but I can't find it anymore. Can anybody post a link to information regarding this matter? Thanks!

Thanks, your answer in that second link was very useful!
Sorry for not searching this forum myself before posting. Sometimes it takes me forever to find something using the search option here and I'm kinda short of time. Thanks again!

one more question though:
do you think it's a good idea to make a note that my partner did the translation? or do you think it's better not to mention at all who did the 'inofficial' translations?

I think the more information you can give to the immigration officer, the better......make sure you have both the Korean version and the translation there.

I can't delete it, snowmoose, it's not my message. You can't send DMs because you don't have enough posts. Why don't you just bring us up to date on the Buffalo thread......if you want.. Smiley
