Hello Fallsage,
Just curious to know if you did get any response from LA CIC. I was looking through some forums and found that before the file gets transferred the address gets disappeared from e-cas and when they try to make a decision it again disappears from e-cas.
I haven't received any reply for my post regarding the same. So, trying to check with you.

My application received by Buffalo January 13 2011,
AOR and medical requested 29 June 2011,
Medicals done 29 July 2011,
Medicals sent August 14 2011,
Transferred to LA 31 August 2011.
Trying to wait patiently for PPR....

Hi I got email from CIC today and my file has been transfered to LA. I know someone got Passport Request 1.5 month later after his file was transfered. I think you will get good news soon. Hi, there

" similar case here for me. ususally I use "Bxxxx" number to access to my account on e-cas. Recently it did not work and I found I have to use "EPxxxxx" number to check my status from e-cas. Hi, Mine is transfered to LA too:- Medical done: March 30,2011 Transfered to LA : June 14,2011 Request for passport: August 30,2011 Mailed passport/RPRF : September 2,2011 LA Received : Sept 7,2011 Received stamp/passport :  Still waiting my passport back. I read many topics and kinda freak out if it'll takes more than a months to get my pasport back. Pls share timelime...i 'll need my passport and stamp for my flight on Oct 18  |

Thanks for sharing your timeline. Don't worry. I googled. Most people got their passports back within three weeks. I have been hesitant whether I should send LA RPRF now or wait for PPR first. According to your case, I think there is no rush to send RPRF right away:))) Before LA asked for your passport, was there any change on your ecas? |

Medical done: March 30,2011
Transfered to LA : June 14,2011
Faxed: Mariage certificate : August 5,2011 (i married to Canadian)
Request for passport: August 30,2011
Mailed passport/RPRF : September 2,2011
LA Received : Sept 7,2011
Received stamp/passport : September 19,2011
Active VISA/PR : September 19,2011 @ Coutts border
Case closed: Septemeber 19,2011  Anyway, i think LA will contact you soon. Best all the luck! I feel like a new life with PR

I just got an email this morning from CIC-Buffalo that my file was transferred to LA. My question is..is there something that I have to be ready of ? like papers or document? Buffalo transferred my fiel after my medicals/ By the way I was under PNP for Alberta too?
What is next after this? Is it okay that it was transferred to LA?
