My file is in Detroit Office. If my Ecas says that they started processing my application on 11/11/11 and they sent me a letter 2 weeks ago that no additional documentation needed and to pay the RPRF and I did sent them the money order 2 weeks ago, what could be the reason that I did not receive a PPR yet?

Sent Email to Detroit on Dec12, that is what they replied on 12/14/2011:

Your application is in process.  We cannottell you exactly when it wil be ready for finalization.  We will contact you when it is. The processing time varies greatly from one file to another.

I just received a passport request from Detroit. I applied under CSQ. In Aug 2011, I got married to a canadian citizen. Last week i faxed a letter to Detroit office explaining that and a copy of marriage certificate and a copy of my wife's canadian passport.

Now, in the request that i received today says: do not submit your passport if you have married or divorced since our last correspondence.

Do you think they processed the fax and that is why they sent me the request or (they did not process the fax yet)?

They are asking to fill out my wife's name in the form that they sent me.

One quick question:

If you sent application from Canada to Buffalo and your application was transfered to Detroit later, who would the recipient of RPRF be? The Receiver General for Canada OR the Consulate General of Canada?
