I have a full UK Car and Unrestricted Motorbike licence, I have been informed that I can swop my drivers licence but will have to take my Bike test again, as the bike licence is not transferable. Is this right?

In Ontario, correct.
But you will be credited for the time you have held the bike license.

I assume you have held a full licence for over two years.

When you go to exchange your licence for the car, explain that you want the credit for the bike licence.
