First off, happy holidays to everyone!!! I hope you're all doing well.
Now for the question: I logged in to the CIC online system and it said my file was transferred to the New York office from Buffalo. Any idea what this means? Thanks in advance.

Hello Everyone,
My file was transferred to NY from Buffalo on 28th July '2009. Recently, on Wednesday i.e. 16th Sept, i received an email stating that they posted a letter to submit my IELTS and Current Job Status, which i had submitted to Buffalo, before they transferred my File. Do i need to send it again or is there a way to ask Buffalo to send it to NY..

I see "in process" and it only changed once since i registered when the file was transferred, earlier it used to say "file received" or something. Apparently Buffalo and NY dont change the status at all. |

Wow thats a lot of time from 23rd November, why don't you write a mail to NY consulate. if they still say its stuck in Ottawa, I have heard others in the forum say that there is a fax number for Ottawa and sometimes they have expedited. |
