Transcripts from Mumbai University

Dear All,

Can anybody from Mumbai help me to get the procedure for getting Transcripts.

How to apply for the transcripts to Mumbai University.

Appreciate your immediate reply for same.

hi cool! as far as i know mumbai university does not issue transcripts. when i went to their kalina campus, after standing in line at enquiry for about an hour they just told me at the counter that mba transcripts are issued at churchgate branch. next day before leaving for churchgate i called them up(thankfully i remembered to get the number from kalina enquiry counter). they just said on phone that they dont issue transcripts, it will be issued by the college from where we passed out, and i did get my sealed transcripts from my college. try your luck maybe someone can help you. maybe they dont issue only for mba, for other courses they do, i am not sure.

mention not friend! but just check out for your course, for mba this was their response maybe for other courses they do issue because at kalina some other students of other courses (cant remember which ones, i think engg etc) were standing in line for transcripts so just be sure. transcripts are important to get points for education.

I have completed my graduation (B.Com) from Malad N.K College and will try to get from college.

Are they giving transcripts for B.Com...?

pune university is better they give, but mumbai no idea about b.com. but i remember reading earlier post about mumbai univ transcripts why dont u search this forum, i am sure u'll get the thread!

ofcourse for each completed course they will provide you transcript. Here in Gujarat they have issued me a sealed envelope with EMBASSY's address.

I got my transcript for my Bcom and Mcom from Bombay University. There is a form you need to fill at Kalina and the wait time is few weeks. You need to collect them personally. For Masters you would have to go to Fort Campus. I am not sure if your college transcripts are acceptable but then it should not be a problem. If you have time please get it from the university.

Would you like to explain in simple words that you treat university mark sheet as university script or degree certificate? And will it be necessary to provide? one more thing that have you applies by yourself or you hire some agent or consultant?

Marksheet , degree certificate & transcript all are different... You need to apply with your college / university to get the transcript ....It is necessaryto provide all....BTW I have applied without any consultant in the begining of 2010..

Hi Irfan,

I have all the marksheets and Certificates for graduation including convocation.

Transcript is the requirement from Canada Immigration which is nothing but consolidation of marksheet of all years of graduation ( F.Y.B.Com to T.Y.B.Com).

I am trying to get it from University but not sure whether I will get it or not.

My relatives who had applied for Immgiration got the visa also and one of them is at medical stage. They have never attached the transcripts with their documents.

If I don't get the transcript and If I am attaching all the marksheet + certificates + convocation + passing certificate (for B.Com) , will there be any problem.

Hey Cool Guy CACA, Can you let me know the exact procedure to get the transcripts of Bcom/BA from Mumbai University? I am off to Mumbai in a couple of weeks time and want to get all ground work done well in advance.
