Transcipts from University?

i would like to know do we need to arrange "Original Transcipts" from university in all the cases or only in the case where degrees / certificate are not in english. i was never advised that i need to arrange some transcirpt from university. i have read in this forum about Original Transcipts to be arranged from univeristy in a sealed envolpe. i have all the marksheets & degrees certifiacte from the university in both langaues (regional & english on 1 certificate only). do i still need to contact my university & arrange for somthing else?. if yes than what is this somethign else? aren't we suppsoe to send the photocopies of all teh mark sheets and degree certificates in English language. i though that was good enough.

You need to get all your original transcripts from College / University in their sealed envelope. This is the requirement of CIC office. Do not send your original transcripts which you are keeping with you because sometime they do not return it to the applicants.

u mean to say that i need to collect my 10th, 12th, bachelor's & master's degree marksheets & certificates from the universities.
u mean the "originals" i have shouldn't be sent & i need to arrange more "original" copies specially for immigration purposes.
is that a standard procedure or they ask only certain ppl

This is the standard procedure. But in my case I did copies of all my transcripts and gave to college / University to attest and seal it in a envelope and later they return it to me which I will forward it to CIC office.

If your College / University can do it then it is very good because It is not good to send the original transcripts which you are keeping with you because there are chances of loosing documents by CIC office or sometime they do not return to the applicants.

either v should have i set of originals (other than what we always had) or photocpoies duly atteshed by university or board

As in case of North American or European University, ask and collect official certificates/ transcripts from university and send them to Visa office.

In case of other universities, photocopy original certificate/transcript that you have and ask the university to attest/notarize/verified ans seal them in an envelope and then send them to Visa Office.

I am not sure do we need to submit grade 10 certificate, if you have university degree.

If you have any relative in your home town then ask them to get it done.

I ask my relatives to do and I have got all the documents but it took 15 days for me to get all the transcripts.

The best is to check with the university, where you have obtained your degree and ask for the procedure for obtaining transcripts. And most universities (even in remote locations) gives this.

What I have done is send the photocopies of the marksheets along with the fees (as a DD) along with an application letter stating the reason and the address where it has to be send. I have obtained the same for my Bachelors and Masters in India. It took for me around 1 month from the date of sending the application for transcripts.

I don't think you need to have sealed transcrpits for 10th and 12th. I had send them a notarized copy of the marksheets.

do v need it for principal applicant only? or spouses transcripts also needed to be sent for verification?
only master's /bachelor's needs to be attested or v need to send 10th or 12th class mark sheet also?

It is applicable to principal applicants as well as spouse. It is better to get 10th and 12th grade transcripts from college.

and  12th is from college
bachelor's from university
so, v need to go to these different institutions
