Tourist visa to Work Visa..

Ones i get the Tourist visa and find a job in the time that I'm a tourist.. would I have any trouble doing this... I know Alberta is a place with too many job offers, I have a degree an several years of experience in HR,  if I get a job doing any other thing like a kitchen helper, warehouse helper,  or any other job where I do not use my experience.. how difficult is to get a work visa under these conditions..?

Last I heard they were clamping down a bit on work visa for low skilled.  A coworker of mine had some relatives who wanted to come work at Tim Hortons (donut shops) but he said that the last batch of workers was refused.  My employer wanted to get 10 guys from China and they were refused also.  I am not sure why exactly.  The law states they have to offer market rates and it is possible that they were refused because they were not.  If you get a low skill permit, you would have to leave in 2 years though unless in the meantime you can find a better job and get a skilled permit.

On your experience,  how is the best and faster way to get a work visa...  I'll still sending resumes hoping some one at 4000 miles want to interviewing me.

If you have the option to do a working holiday or something like that, it could be a way to get your foot in the door.  It is easier to get employment if you are here to look for it in person.  Employers are more likely to give you a job offer if they can see you than if they just deal with you online.
