As we all know that 144000 pre june applications still pending and 15000 to 20000 post june application and 2012 quota is only 55000 for skilled worker.. so that 3 years long wait for clear backlog.....
Am i right friend...?

I thought 144000. Is total no of applicants for PR including all categories like skilled family refugees etc and the other numbers are relating to skilled category only. Anyone else can clarify. And any idea how many of the 144000 are skilled or no one knows?

hi i am a pre june applicant.. to be exact March 31, 2010 I received my 1st AOR June 3, 2010.. Full docs sent Sept. 27, 2010. I received my 2nd AOR Sept 30, 2010.. Then after 10 months I received my MR.. Medical done August 6, 2011 and additional docs send to VO Sept 5, 2011.. VO replied and requested for updated NBI clearance.. Sent Sept 24, 2011. For now im waiting for my PPR and its almost 3 mos now.. This waiting kills me  |

Is there any particular quota for number of visas to be issued for each embassy for pre-jun & post june applicants?
If yes, how do we know if quota is filled?

The total waiting time depends in some facts about one's application. Some are the VO where one belongs like me it will be 2 years in January 2012 and the ads then were 6 mos for the fast track application but sad to say it is a slow track. It also depends on ones document too.

I and many other pre-june applicants have passed more than 15 months from 2nd AOR and still our status is RBVO. |

You are lucky that u r from Manila because many of pre-june manila applicants have recently received MR, while other VO applicants are still in the dark and don't know when they will receive MR/additional document request in their case.
