Hi im phani, I have filed my application for canada immigration , and also sent the file 3 days ago ,, and may i know like how many days does it takes for me to get the file number, and what will be the total time for getting the visa after medicals. plz let me know if any body is familiar with this topic

Hay, welcome to the unending waiting nightmare! Sorry, but this is to set your expectations perfectly right.

You must get you PER (hopefully) in 3-4 months. It will take from 16 to 24 months the whole process!

Hey Mezo, please get your facts rite. According to new rules( Fast Track Immigration) one should be getting visa in around 6-10 months time and not 16- 24 months. otherwise what is the point in fast track immigration?

There are lot of factors that can affect ones application does making the waiting game a little bit longer than what is expected, like mine which for now seems like the light at the end of tunnel is still so far and it has been 13 months now. Just keeping the faith and fingers and feet always crossed...
