http://www.canadavisa.com/total-number-of-federal-skilled-worker-applications-received-by-cic.html

Many could not put through their application due to the Cap limit.

But now since the applications of pre -feb 2008 has be cancelled this year maybe the cap limit could be increased.

Next keep ur credentials evaluated before 30th June 2012 as this could be a compulsory requirement.

Do IELTS  again if u have scored less as a Higher score could be set .

hi dear...i don't think they would increase the cap...as such just read it in forum sumwher.....after the 3 lakh applns are gone still they will have 1.6 lakh applns in queue.......if they increase the cap, it may again increase the backlog...thats just my point...

but u rite....ppl who want to apply in july need to keep everythin ready and keep on checkin the docs to see if anythin is missin

I agree. Unfortunately I don't think the cap will be increased - or if it is, it won't be by very much.

The cap is not determined by the backlog.

Instead, the cap is determined by how many new immigrants Canada's social systems, job market and general infrastructure can take in during one year.
