Hi,
I live in Toronto and I applied for my Canadian citizenship end of Jan2011. I got the acknowledgement letter in Feb2011 and still waiting for the test letter. I checked my status online and it says "Received". How long before I get the letter?
Thanks

In my case, it took about 12 months from the date of application to the actual date of the test.
Total processing time for Citizenship Application can be up to 19 months (according to the CIC website).

Good luck!

Some updates:

We started processing your application on September 8, 2011.

Your file was transferred to the St Clair CIC office on November 15, 2011. The St Clair CIC office will contact you if additional information is required. The St Clair CIC office will contact you regarding your citizenship test once all the necessary checks on your file are complete.
