Etihad Airlines offers direct flights from Abu Dhabi Airport to Toronto.  The flight is almost 15 hours!!!

Have you flown with them or do you know if they do a stopover somewhere in Europe to give people a break?   I hope it does so at least for re-fueling, otherwise 15-hour nonstop flight could become very boring.

I am sorry but they dont stop for refuelling on the way to Toronto as they fly latest aircraft on that route which can store enough fuel to fly for longer durations. To avoid getting bored, your best bet would be either entertaining yourself with their onboard audio/video channels, play games, or obviously, pick and chat up one of their hot airstewards/stewardesses onboard.

well, for one, at least one can relax, lay back and maybe even get a good night's sleep....there's a lot of space to turn around, which you dont get in the economy class...of course, at an extra cost

Lol reminds me of that couple who got on the very first flight of A380 to Austraila and got into business on the business class. The crew had to threaten them of throwing them out of the plan if they didnt stop which eventually worked and they agreed to let other passengers sleep in peace for the rest of the journey :P
