too late and still waiting for PR card

Hello guys,

I got my pr card with incorrect name. I sent it back for replacement. CIC told me that I will receive it within 6-7 weeks.
I sent it on 23rd Nov. 2011 and they received it on 28 Nov 2011.  On 17 Jan 2012 they opened my PR card for processing.
I called them last week and they said that they don't have any update.
Its taking a lot of time. What can I do in order to get my PR card?
Why its taking a lot of time?

I am getting out of patience. Please help!!

From various discussions it is understood that the time given by CIC is approximate and there could be further delays.  You may need to keep calling them every week. If you are not planning for an out country travel the PR Card is not essential for any need. The COPR copy is proof of your PR.

i need my driver's license and authority is asking for my pr card and thats the only reason i need it.
