Hi all,
I am old applicant, applied in manila on Oct 2006 and later file transferred to Tokyo on Oct 2008. i got request for medical, passports and new police certificate along with the payment for the right of permanent residence fee(RPRF) from Tokyo visa office on Oct 2010. I have done medical and submitted all requested docs via DHL on Nov 14th and now waiting for further info or doc request if necessary. i do not know what will happen. presently i am residing in Bangladesh as because i finished my postdoc in Japan and return to my home country. is there any one to give me any hope for PR status at this point?

Why dont u send a Case Specific Enquiry to your Visa Office in order to know ur PR application stataus??

First of all congratulations, 2ndly, yes, contact the Visa office and update the address immediately, in the same time you can ask them
the status as well.

THANKS FOR REPLY. YESTERDAY MY E-CASE TURNED TO DECISION MADE.IT TOOK 6 YRS ONE MONTH TO MOVE TO DECISION MADE FROM IN PROCESS. TODAY I SENT AN INQUIRY TO VO VIA EMAIL BUT DID NOT GET THE REPLY YET. I WILL UPDATE U SOON.
