Hi,
I have given a TOEFL exam in Aug 2011 and now that I want to apply for immigration I have been told that I have to give IELTS too as TOEFL is not accepted for immigration? Is that true? I wish I had known it before so I could have given IELTS instead.

yup ielts  general  as tofel score are not acceptable  for immigration purpose

Only IELTS is acceptable

hi,

TOEFL is required for admission procedure by various universities...while IELTS general module for immigration purposes that is my understanding.....

so IELTS is mandatory...
