if you're talking about the application fee payment in the form of bank draft (paid to: RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA), it should be with the initial application package that you have sent to CIO. Without it your application is deemed incomplete.

All applicants from July 2011 should include their IELTS results in their application. IELTS result is mandatory. For me and all of the applicants after July 2011 have submitted the IELTS result together with other documents to Nova Scotia CIO (first time submission).

Yes, I also included the bank draft for the application fee payment and I address it (payable) to "RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA" as indicated in the guide. It should be in Canadian Dollars.

It will take on average of 90 days before you will receive a notice from CIC. This is called the PER (Positive Eligibility Review) if your documents are all OK.

IELTS result and bank draft payment should be included in your application once you send it to CIO Sydney, NS. Or else, your application will be rejected and be returned.

I'm assuming you're a post-July 2011 applicant, are you?  Wink

I don't know why you're only submitting the IELTS and bank draft now, should you included it together with your application?

Are you a Pre-July 2011 or a Post-July 2011 applicant?

This is the link for the EG7 guide http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp  On this guide you will read about the "Receiver General for Canada" in the payment mode.

THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA is the name your bank will put in the bank draft (check), it is not a mailing address.

This is the address if you want to send it by courier. The address you mentioned is for regular mail
