To whom do I pay RPRF - Buffalo or Mississauga?

We have paid Principle Application fee and Sponsorship Fee to CPC Mississauga for my out-land application according to the application check list.  I have not paid my RPRF. 

As my application is forwarded to Buffalo, NY for processing do I pay my RPRF directly to Buffalo (certified cheque referrencing my case number) or do I pay on-line to CPC Mississauga and forward my receipt to Buffalo as proof of payment?  I don't want to wait for Buffalo to ask for RPRF as I believe that will add time to my processing time.

I wouldn't send it to Mississagua at this point.  It might be difficult for Buffalo office to find when they require it.  Have your sponsor call the CIC help-line and ask where to send it and how you should mark it.  Safest bet I think.

The problem is my sponsor (Canadian citizen) lives with me in the US and we can't call the 800 number from the US.  CIC nor Buffalo answer our emails or fax. I guess I'll just wait for confirmation that the application has been forwarded to Buffalo and then send Buffalo a check.

If your sponsor has family in Canada, they could call.  Its really just a general question.  They just need to ask where to send the money and how to mark the payment.  They shouldn't even need your immigration file number for that.  Give it a try.
