to translate or not

What are the documents that should be translated .

 for supporting documents, if we decide to send e-mail correspondence, or cards sent from one to an other shoul dwe sent a transaltion of those if written in spanish ? Certified ?

Also, we 're having some letters written by family and freinds, and some of these people can only write in spanish, should we hav ethat also translated ? Does it need to be certified ?

I translated any official document (birth certificates/marriage cert etc)

for letters from family and friends I translated them myself and just wrote a statement saying that I am bilingual and translated proper then had my sister sign as a witness and said she confirms it was translated properly. I picked a few emails and translated them myself. I left the chat logs and most of the emails. I wasnt going to take my personal stuff to an office to get it certified....

I am sure I should send Bogota more evidence of our genuine relationship. I wondered also about , if I send copies of our correspondence e-mails, what should be translated from spanish? The funny part is that they are in spanish as she does not know english, and I am not fluent in spanish. ( After writing to her for 2 years, I am getting better (:, but I am sure to a spanish speaking officer in Bogota , many of our letters will look hilarious.Anyway, we married a year ago in July, so in my opinion anyone on here who gets their Visa before 10 months is fast. I am just a bit worried now that I should send some more evidence.
