Dear wxyz123 1- Your brother's Permanent residence card copy 2- Your father's form B which includes your brother's, sister's and your name. If Form B is in other then English make true translation in English. I think it enough to prove that he is your brother
Hope for the best

you need to send :
•Proof of relationship to your close relative in Canada, such as birth, marriage or adoption certificates. •If your close relative is a permanent resident of Canada: photocopy of his or her Record of Landing (IMM 1000), Confirmation of Permanent Residence or Permanent Resident Card.
if the birth certificate is not possible , send form B with explanation why.
s.t the visa office request proof that ur brother is physically in canada as add doc request, in this case u have to send utility bill, telephone bill, tax payment ,etc.

Hi
I'd think you can send the following:
1. a legible PHOTOCOPY of his record of landing (or PR card) 2. PHOTOCOPY of either a current (issued during preceding 6 months) bank statement, credit card bill, utility bill, rental contract (if you prefer send more then one of these) 3. a NOTARIZED photocopy will completely do! (so will a photocopy)
Good luck //

The visa office specific instructions for London say that all photocopies must be "notarized" (certified, really).
Your brother can take photocopies of his documents, along with the originals, to a Service Canada location and get them certified for free.

hi thx for your reply. are you sure certification is free there? It was when I did it in Ontario... You can also order the certified record from CIC -this is probably better for your purposes - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/factsheet.asp"For Canadian citizens and/or permanent residents of Canada To obtain a certified copy of your own Record of Landing or Confirmation of Permanent Residence (either as principle applicant or accompanying dependent) for legal purposes, please visit or write your nearest Canada Immigration Centre. Fee: $30.00 (payable to the Receiver General of Canada by cheque or money order)."
