Hi

I landed in Canada then I came back to the US cuz I am not ready yet for relocation...

I received a red letter sayin that my photo was not acceptable and I have to supply new one within 180 days...

OK, I got travel document and I am going to Canada in few days to give the photo (the 180 days have not passed yet).

The questions are:
1) How long it will take them to process the PR this time??? Is it gonna be 33 as if I have just applied? longer  Sad ? shorter (hopefully Cheesy)?
2) If I have to leave Canada before I get the PR this time again, can I have my friend mail it to me? Get a new travel document?
3) any way to expedite the process???

Thank you

1) The processing times will be the same as for a brand new card. This means you should receive the card in the mail in 6-8 weeks.

2) Yes.

3) No. Expedite processing is only available for PR card renewals.

Thank you Scylla

Then, I need to get a second travel document? or can I just use the one I have for a second time? (it will be still valid then but it says one entry  Roll Eyes)

Can I apply for travel document in "any" Canadian post? or does it have to be the same one that gave me this one...

Thx

You would need another valid travel document as every travel document is usually valid for single entry.

Your second question is not clear

Thank you Rocky

My question was... my immigration application was filed and accepted in Buffalo. My first travel document was also processed in Buffalo.
Can I obtain my second travel document in a Canadian embassy other than Buffalo???

Thank you

1. U don't require a PRTD [Permanent Resident's Travel Document] to enter Canada, by road, in a car. Our COPR suffices for that.
2. PRTDs [if required] could be obtained from any overseas CHC office, within the country or around the globe.
