Hi Leon/all senior members,
I had applied for canadian citizenship in june 2004 and got letter to appear for test. Due to some emergency , I had to be in india for ~1.4 years at a stretch and hence missed all chances of test and to appear before judge . My file was eventually abandoned and closed.

This was last status:

Your application was closed on April 3, 2007. Your application is considered abandoned because you have not provided us with the information requested or you missed your interview with a citizenship judge or your appointment for the citizenship ceremony. For more information, please contact us.

I lived in canada for 4 years there after and re-applied 1 month ago. Old staus was out of my profile. Last week I saw status of my application : Received.

so far all expected but surprisingly Next day it mentioned :

Decision Made

Details:
Your application was closed on April 3, 2007. Your application is considered abandoned because you have not provided us with the information requested or you missed your interview with a citizenship judge or your appointment for the citizenship ceremony. For more information, please contact us.

Means , it stated old status again.

I am confused!! My application was abandoned and closed and hence i reapplied again after making sure I fulfill all requirements. Please suggest...

Phone the CIC call centre and ask them to check it out.  Maybe it is a mistake on eCas.
