Hi! I applied under FSW 1, I am a Registered Nurse in L.A., I am out of status right now. I submitted a full application to CIC-MANILA last March 09. Last June 16, 09, I received another letter from their office asking for additional docs such as "personal net worth" and " proof of status" for myself and my partner. I know from the start that you dont need a legal status here in US to apply to canada. But what is the reason why the IO from CIC-MANILA asking for proof of status?
Also, do you have any idea why the request for medicals are taking so long? I am being represented by a lawyer based in Ontario.
