Dear Qorax,
I have 3 years work experience in an occupation, which is not in the NOC 29 occupation list, and 1 year work experience in an occupation, which is in the 29 NOC occupations list. How many points will I be awarded for work experience?

The 1yr out of last 10yrs experience is only for eligibility in that NOC. For points - u get it for the entire experience, ie. for your 3+1=4 yrs.

The 1 year of experience which you have under 29 list of NOC will help you award points and the rest 3 years needs to be under the Skill type 0, A or B to help you fetch the remaining points.

NOTE: the occupations above are all Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification list.
