hi bc guy! i'm a registered nurse from the Philippines. i already applied to crnbc, after 3 months of waiting, they said that i needed a sec assessment. i have to be in canada for me to be assessed, which is very costly on my part. is there any other way for me to get registered in BC? can futuresearchcanada help me eventhough i've already started the process? how long does it usually take for nurses here in the Philippines to complete the immigration process? can i bring my family with me? thanks so much and hope to hear from you.

There is no way to avoid SEC assessment because this assessment was started last year due to IEN's(Internationally educated nurses) lack of skills and comminication etc.. You will be wasting money on agencies because they have no say on registrations. CRNBC takes independent decisions based on your education and skills.

It would be better to spend money on your trip and assessment. You will have to go through assessment whether you take the help of an agency or not. The agency can only help you find jobs post-registration.
