nope. the landing fee is only asked during medical stage. it is usually sent via email
hi ang galing ambilis po naissue yung visa nyo. congrats. we had our med jan 9, ppr sent last feb27. plagay nyo po how long will it take for cem to send our visa? thanks |

PPR na rin sa wakas!
here's my latest timeline:
meds done - Jan 17
meds results forwarded to CEM - Feb 1
PPR - Feb 25
will send passports tomorrow! ganun pala yun, they already indicate in the PPR email the effectivity of the visa they will issue, as in the last date to enter Canada.

hello po.. My wife and my kid had their medical examination in NHSI for Family sponsorship here in Canada last February 7, 2012. After almost a month po, naka receive sya ng txt msg sa NHSI last March 3, 2012 na for sputum test sya kasi my history sya 12 years ago regarding sa lungs problem nya. Today, March 8, 2012( March 7, 2012 central Canada time) 3rd day ng sputum test nya, nag kausap kami ng wife ko, Then nagulat ako sa sinabi nya na nun kinausap sya ng pulmonologist from makati med na kailangan nya makita yun. 1. Typewritten medical certificate of treatment on a letterhead paper. 2. Diagnosis 3. Drugs and dosages specify individual drugs) 4. Inclusive dates of treatment/Duration of treatment 5. Old chest x-ray, 12 years ago na po yun since nun nagka problem sya. Pag hindi daw na present yun mga kailangan ng wife ko eh kailangan nya daw ulit mag TREATMENT.. Treatment for what? Hindi pa ba sapat yun sputum test? Nag trabaho din po ako sa hospital at clinic for almost 4 years as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, kaya I know some stuffs po. But, regarding na kailangan sya itreatment ulit kaya nakaka dismaya. Kasi ano yun iti-treatment sa kanya. Sana po may makasagot ng katanungan ko.

i had TB 8 years ago and got the complete set of meds. The disease did not register sa medical results ko sa NHSI tho i declared it, complete with submission of medical clearance issued by my pulmo doctor 8 yrs ago (Makati Med din). in the clearance letter, it didnt say what specific medications i went through. sinabi lang ng pulmo doctor, completed the 6-month treatment and is fit for work. ganun lang. the NHSI demanded the list of meds. my MMC doctor has gone abroad, wala na sa MMC. i told NHSI doctor that. then sabi lang, okay that's fine just write an affidavit that the dr is gone, and then bahala na i-take ni CEM if the letter clearance I submitted is enough. i also provided my 2011 xray. actually, tinago ko talaga ang mga xray fiilms ko every year because TB is a serious disease lalo na for employment and/or visa purposes. Anyway, ang duda ko kaya they let me just write the affidavit (sinabi nila ito mga 2 weeks after) eh hindi nag-register ang scar sa xray ko. my xray results for the last 4 years ng films have been clear. So no scar, no sputum test needed. Duda ko lang naman na ito ang nangyari sa kin. But parang weird naman yung MMC pulmo mo. Just because walang proof, eh kelangan ulitin ang meds? Hindi pa ba sinasabi ng MMC pulmo what disease? Ang duda ko, since nakita na active pa rin from the sputum test, and walang ma-present na proof of treatment, gusto nila gawin ulit ang treatment. Meron pa bang nakikitang ibang disease from sputum test aside from TB? |

Sabi sa kanya nun nag pa medical sya, ok nman daw yun xray, pero nabanggit nya sa doctor na nag medical sa kanya na meron syang history 12 years ago. Then nagulat na lang sya na almost 1 month saka sya tinext, saying na for sputum test sya. Then nun nsa pulmo na sya, hiningian na sya ng requirements na isubmit yun mga yun for pulmo clearance. Nakaka duda kasi, lalo na may knowledge ako regarding those case kasi nag work ako before sa hospital. Nun nag sputum test yun wife ko, may mga kasabay sya na ganon din ang case. Yun iba malabo daw ang x-ray which is.... alam na......... May mga friend din ako dito na naka experience na for sputum test, etc and etc. |
