I'm not FSW2 but I'm Buffalo VO applicant under category FSW1

My Ecas changed to IN PROCESS this morning. I checked yesterday Sunday nothing was there except my RBVO status. Today morning at 7.10, I checked and it turned to IN PROCESS.

After 6 months and 20 days, once I received my PER

I have  a breaking news from Buffalo

My Ecas status changed to IN PROCESS.

"Your application was reviewed and we started processing on June XX, 2011"

Hello Guys,

I have an issue, I took the medical exam in June, but afterthat, I was laid off due to the shortage of work. My work permit / LMO is still vaild until July 2012. My question is : will that effect the decision of my immigration???
My timeline as below:
Feb 2011 --> sent to CIO
Mar 2011--> approved by CIO and thansfer to visa office
May 2011--> In Process
June 2011 --> did the ME and sent additional documents as per the request from visa office
July 2011 --> waiting for Mer.....

I got the email but i dont know the file transfer to visa office or not.
email indicates that we will forward your fle to visa office but when?

Pls help me to understand this.

Not sure if it is going way too fast for fsw2 but I am hopefull. If nothing comes up by Oct I might also apply in the CEC category. Please keep posting your updates under this forum.

i got my ppr on feb 24th 2012.. landed this sunday at pearson airport.. in my case, it was expedited by doing advance medical and sending the scanned receipt to nyvo through their case specific enquiry.. the day i emailed them happened to co incide with the day they were looking at my file... which is why they looked up my medical records at Ottawa and then gave me PPR immediately.. i think it also helped that i had just gotten my work permit renewed and was probably all updated in their system

Hi All,

Following is my timeline.

Application received by CIO on 8th April 2011.

Received first email i believe that is first AOR or PER on 11th May 2011 with my file no. starting with E********.

After that my E-case Status is RBVO since June 2011. My visa office is Buffalo.

Can any one tell me how long it will take to get "In Process" status or "Medical Req."

I went in Process on April 30. So it took me 18 months from when CIO received my application. No MR yet
