Dnt know whts going on... as i have seen some of the people here have been waiting more than a year... this is really unfortunate. Dnt know whr we stand but 1 thing is sure this canadian immi isnt that easy. donno whts d problem. 2 of my friends applied after 1 month than i did & thier status is showing " In Process".

d question is r we gonna wait that long ? i hv another application with ndvo under fedral skilled worker n i hv waited for that abt 1.5 year n now this MPNP is also taking so long....  

Biggest problem is that, you can not communicate with them by any mean, other then email, they will reply after one month that too, if they feel matter is very important. How can they keep passport ? for such a long time. People requires passport, for so many purpose viz.. renewal of their study visa for the country they are studying, (all most all country reuquires annual renewal) identification proof for TOEFL, IELTS
USMLE, MCC, MCI FMGE, for registration in education institute abroad, etc... for so many reason and
CHC will sit on your passport for nothing. If they are not ready for stamping, why do they ask to submit the passport ?.
if you have other good opening in other country, and if its working alright for you,  you do not have passport. you will miss the the opportunity. CHC will keep the passport for years. if you write to them, you do not know, weather they have received your request or not ? because CHC will not reply.

In the name of volume of work, actually thy are exploiting. If they are not able to handle, why they accept the application ?

once it has happened that, even after so many letters and email requesting to confirm the receipt of letter, they did not bother to reply any letter, and after three month when they called for some other reason. they questioned me, why not answered to their query, I told i have answered, then they said they have not received. Now this letter was sent by by International courrier company "Blue Dart" there online tracking stated its deliverd nextday. Then i kept quite thinking it is delivered. And after three months they  say not received....

now suppose in stead of letter it is passport , it can meet same fate. and we will be keeping silence in the hope that,we will be receiving some reply or acknowledgement. Courrier company will give you tracking report saying delivered on so n so date with stamp, now how can you convince CHC by e-mail where they take one month to reply. They will not take your call at any cost. you have to write letter and there will be no reply before one month.

you know ? it takes 10 days, for any letters to reach from their gate (where they receive the courier) to the officer's table, even our municipal office is better then this, it does not take that much time.

Thats right. if they are not ready to stamp the passports, why r they keeping it so long? .. even that verification does take that long. i have worked myself as a verification specialist for abt 2 years in NZ n i know how long it takes to verify employment or educational details of a person. Even security checks takes max 7-12 days. there are verification companies in the market which gives you the result within 2 weeks maximum. Dont know which verification company CHCND is dealing with ? >< 

Or the other reason is that CHC ND do not have suffice employees to work on the applications.  whatever it is, very unfortunate for the applicants who risk their valuable time, money & opportunities in the hope of getting the visa.

nyways... i dnt think CHCND guys are reading this forum

             Here CHC clear that human rights is only for Canadian citizens not for Indian.

As per Canadian law they can't keep any1 passport more than 45 days but in India CHC kept our passport more than year.

Passport is very valuable for every1. If any1 have any emergency and want to fly then what will do?

If you are in Canada then you can sue Canadian embassy but here Canadian embassy don't care abt human rights and Indian

human right voilation on indian land is not Canadian problem, it is indian govt.'s weakness....that they dare
to do so. the same CHC pepole will have different attitude in any developed country.
Govt is least bothered after all, they are not sufering ! We want to go usa/canada for the betterment of our family.....they (politician) have looted enough money for many generation to eat.
And also made sure that their children also rule this country. Heredity of loot (Robbing) should continue...
We are slave of them because we allow them to loot.
In India only higher upper class enjoys.
all this will continue in india. Developed country has no problem because it is in their interest that india,  should not be developed, otherwise  India will be super a power. To maintain their (developed countries) superemacy they support this system in India.

It seems nobody yet who applied in August 2011 and onwards under the MPNP general stream category received their LOA. I also applied last September under the general stream and still waiting for sponsors' interview. Hope to hear some good news soon. 

I applied in august as well on 24 got loa in october whats the date on your AOR and where r u from

hi my manitoba friends pls solve my problem i recived my visa with one landing paper on landing paper they right its not valid for trival whats thats mean and pls also tell me the manitoba webside where we inform about or visa issu date and coming dates pls help me i am waiting for your kind reply

Really? Did you receive LOA (letter of approval) already or just AOR (Acknowledgement of receipt)? My sponsor filed my application at MPNP Office last September and we received AOR in November. I tried browsing different timelines of forum members who applied under the MPNP general stream category, particularly those who applied since August and I think nobody received LOA yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. What I understand in your timeline is you're still waiting for your sponsors' interview and LOA.

I tried browsing different timelines of forum members who applied under the MPNP general stream category, particularly those who applied since August and I think nobody received LOA yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. What I understand in your timeline is you're still waiting for your sponsors' interview and LOA.

Sorry abt that its AOR but still wwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiittttttttttttiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg for sponsor interview

 thats mean that if you will not take your passport or you don't have visa on your passport then you can't travel on landing paper.

You shoudl have valid visa on your passport. The one landing paper you received that will use when you will land in canada. In canada immigration officer will take that paper.

2. if you want to infom manitoba, you will find that info on your LOA papers (they send you info papers with your LOA).
you can send them an email that you coming to manitoba

You might as well try to email MPNP to inquire about the status of your application if more than 6 months passed already already since you filed it.
