Finally DM in my ECAS.
Does passport come via DHL or Registered Post ? I am at Canada and I have given my Indian address to receive those passports. I have given authority letter to my in-laws to received our passports. Hope DHL or post will deliver them in soon.
how long does it take to reach passport once DM ?
How does passport comes - DHL OR Registered Post ?

Dear All,
i am confused so i need your guidance. i recently get PPR 1 from cic. but a week a ago i get job offer letter from Canadian advertising agency as they want to hire me as director in one of their project. so they are asking me to submit the photo copies of my passport as they want me to get work permit visa.
Now i need advices from you guys, wt should i do? should i allow them to get me work permit visa before my PR visa. if yes will i get any problem in my PR visa or during landing. please help
Hi... I am a provincial nominee from Ontario and i applied for work permit with the same nomination and landed Canada with that Work permit and dropped my PR application in ND before leaving for canada.,, two of my friends also did the same. what i want to convey here that work permit doesn't create any problems for PR. |

CONGRATES Ashish, usually they will send PP through Register post. no need of authentication letter to receive the PP from post man. any way if it there that good. how you are going to receive your pp, is somebody carrying the passport with them to Canada. Please make sure you give authentication letter to them. when your status changed to "DM"? I am also Canada and sent my passport to CIC-ND, waiting for "DM" status////  Thanks, Ramesh Gollu |

Hello Ashish Congrats dost Welcome to this blogs Also my status got changed to DM on sunday and still waiting for passport back and its come in regular post they send it by speed post in our govt registered post Also I want t know that how muuch time they take to deliver passport from the date of ecas changed to DM.... Please friend suggest and share here bcz i cant wait for now Very exited and eagerly waiting for passport on my hand back with magic sticker |

Hi Ashish I am in Alberta, Canada. Our medical has been received by CiC new delhi. Can you advise what options I have to send my Passport from Canada to CIC ND once I get a request for it? |

I have sent my passport via Canada post Priority , with declaration to customs about Passport inside & letter from cic about passport request. If passport is destined to CHC then it is legal to send. I have my relatives coming back , hence if reached in time , passport will come with relatives. Hope it doesn't take too long to reach Gujarat. My status got change today so Jan 12th. However, my case was long overdue. AINP took 3 years to process( applied in 2008), subsequently CHC took their own sweet time, and my medical got expired , done re medical,etc. Hi Ashish

I sent my passport from Canada to CIC ND through UPS courier, they didn't take any declaration or any CIC letter. just the target address must be some embassy.

So I am assuming u made sure that it is leagl to send a passport to the CHC and canada post will except it. Also, could you give me your contact no as I would like to talk to you over phone coz I am in a similar situation? |

smg u ll have gud news on hand in shrttime Also I just received my passport bck with magic sticker from CHC New Delhi Wat a feelings i cant express in words but let me try tht In early morning i just leave my home for office and just turn to my line and got a call from Mr.Janakbhai Postman and he said who are you? I said aditya janakbhai what happend is there any parcel on the my name....? he said come to post office and collect ur envelop now its from canada embasy and wht next i run like anything just to catch the passport frm post office I got relax when i reached to post offic and got the envelop on hand and u know i open the same while he was gave me on hand and check wht is there in envelop and postman was also shocked becuase i hug him too my expression was awesome while i was having pp with visa on my hand now feel relax and on monday start working for flying as planing to fly on or before first week of february Thanks all my friends Manpreet, SMG, Pari7, Khush77, Guneet7, Sunshine and all other Really thanks alot and wish u a best of luck and expect u ll also get sooner friends |
