today current rate was 45.62...its best u despost 4 lakh 70 thousand in ur bank acc for safe site..

Hi i need 2 know which stream u applied for? if u apply in family stream then it ok..if u applied in general stream then u need 2 send 3 months statment... if u have proof that u sold ur car or jewelry then send proof with ur application.
They want to see this is ur own money... u didn't asked some1 2 give u. If u able to povide proof then its ok

Hi pari7 Don't worry u will be fine...they just want 2 see money in ur acc...i opened the account 5 days before i applied...but make sure u will send bank statment..try to show money in or out in ur account |

I would suggest deposit the cash in the bank and take better to have 2-3 months staments showing the funds. Just one statement could mean borrowed funds to show to CIC. |

I got a reply from CHC New Delhi regarding the status of my passport. See my timeline in the profile for more details. I am wondering why it is taking them so long, while their processing time is 6 months for 80% of the applicants. Following is the reply:
Dear Sir/Madam,
This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.
Your application is currently awaiting review by a visa officer. Please be assured that as soon as the review is complete, the next steps in the processing of this application will be determined and you will be advised accordingly.
