Hi guys, i had an online application for WP on 16th May and they said they will send a email to notify further request.
how long does it take to get confirmation that my documents are good or needs additional information. anybody ideas?

Hi Pouce, Congrat about your LMO again. R u still waiting for ur WP Extention? The CIC website says it takes 57 days for online application. I am still waiting for the LMO Letter. However, my boss got the phone call from service canada, asking pretty much the same questions as yours (I have read your posts  ). So I guess there will be another two weeks for me to get my LMO result. Can I just ask you that what you prepared for your WP Extention. I am preparing to renew mine. Hi did you ask your boss what they said? they said pretty positive? if so they will fax you in a few days.
online application is better because canada post is on a strike.

having a bad day yesterday. They called again, and ask why my work address is not the same as the business address because i have a different location for work. How come they can't just let it go!!!  I'm not sure now if they are positive or not. My boss has to send some information they asked yesterday. What did you send for renewal of your work permit? Job offer letter, LMO letter, passport copy, visa copy, T4 anything else? do you need to send your bank statement to show them your financial? and did you send your graduate paper? I am so depressed right now ........ |

hi sorry abou what happened yesterday. They need to make sure everything is in order, i think, before faxing your boss the LMO. Don't worry it's the gov't what can we expect more from them! lol About your application for WP, just go on cic website and apply online. Then you'll be asked to upload some docx, like PP data info. If you don't have everythinfg at hand you save it and finish it later. I would encorage to go thru the online application because of Canada Post. It's also more convenient and you will receive an email if they need more docx... Mucgh more faster too: wish Buffalo would do the same with PR application |

Hi No T4 and bank statement needed. Just follow the instruction. Online application is kinda tricky though. You will be alright. My work permit will expire in July 9th. I dont know when I can get my permit extended. Just praying God. Only he knows the future man. Have no idea about my PR as well. If I didn't get it, am going home. Don't get so depressed, Bohetingting. Life is like a journey and cool if god is with you.

I cant find exact forum to ask but I think this thread is good one to ask.
I was on study permit and had my visa stamped till 3 Sep 2011. However, now I have post graduate work permit and wish to extend my TRV so that I can move out of Canada and come back. Where should I apply and which form should I apply. Can you kindly give me the addresse/website. I have had troubles finding on internet

I originally faxed my application on May 22rd. On June 1st, they faxed back a letter, asked my boss to send in the advertisment requirement. We respond that on the second day. On June 21, they called for inforamtion. On June 24, the officer from Service Canada said she will be on vacation for two weeks. So she was trying to close my case before she left. June 27, I got my positive LMO. I would say LMO usually takes about a month. |

Thank you Pouce!!! I am working on the online application. There was one question about the medical exam. I did my medical exam before i came to canada(the first time ever). That was like so many years ago. Should i mark that question yes or no? |
