Hello,
My student visa was rejected today. I applied for LLM in the University of Toronto. My visa was rejected because they said that my course of study is available in Pakistan. While its true that you can do LLM from Pakistan, but my area of specialization, Constitutional Law, is not available. My classes start on 8th september. What are my options?

Dude, somebody tell me what to do. Im freaking out here. I mean dont these CHC idiots care if you've been accepted into the LLM program of the most prestigious university in Canada. I mean, I thought ranking mattered..??

guys, do i need to show that i have payed the fees when i enter at canadian port of entry or do i need to carry a bank draft with me? if so, wud my fathers bank statement work?

@ nafri82 ya i hav sent an online cae enquiry on CHC website on 31 july they replied on 13 aug dat ur application is under process wait patiantly in end of june they asked to get da degree verified n we did dat they recievd dat on 6 july n after dat nothn  im v confused no medical n no ans n angry too wats takin dem so long |

i was not asked tht. proof of ties to homeland was showed through my fathers big business with a fat bank statement, and many houses and lands he own. |

@ Mugen = Congrats Guys i sent them 5/6 emails in my 3 months and they replied only once on Aug 4 that "under process , wait efficiently ".. Now when i replied for withdrawal they emailed me next day that send us a signed letter via fax that you want passport back  My intention was only to study but the point to ponder is that they don't have a good mechanism to judge which student is going for study only and who is going with immigration intention. Anyhow I'm gonna fax them on Monday.. |

Mm is it a good idea any medical call yet have aslo contacted theom dont know what to think they requested my passport on the 3 4ugust deliver on 11 august how long more already late for the semester got an extension letter !! So dont even know what happening
