i read on this thread that sending emails to CHC or fax can red flag your application. My semester will start on 1st of sept.
They did not reply me yet. Can i fax them? will it flag my application?

P.S I just send them 3 emails in last 5 months

i sent them my result and email them on the same day telling that i have sent my result and told them my application no, on friday, they emailed me to ask tracking details of my package. So emailed it to them. Inshallah, ill get it next week. Also, inquiri, i cant find any flights before start of the classes. I have to get business class and that is expensive, how i can get discount from pia on business class? Where i have to go/

Dude for the discount you need to take your passport stamped with visa and your offer letter from the university to the main PIA headquarters. I dun know whr that is in karachi but i went to the main office here in lahore. you can call their help line and find out. You should try out emirates for cheaper fares as it flies 4 times a week. I am sure you'll get a cheaper ticket.

Fax CHC and ask them to mail it to you at their earliest as you need to book your ticket in time. I am sure they'll expedite.

What exactly do you mean by flaged??? If your inquiry is valid it wont make any difference but if you just email or fax them to irritate them then they are obviously irritated, but otherwise it doesn't matter!!

first of all, i m also from lahore.
secondly, emirates is full(economy) and their business class is much more expensive than pia business class.

how can we say that this email will irritate them and this email will not? No one would love to email CHC without any reason and every one send them email to make inquiry. My question was, If  i send them email or fax them will it irritate them or put a bad impression ? Because HASSAN said on this thread that do not send them email or fax ( learn from my experience )

Well there are a few nut cases that send emails on a regular basis for little things which would irritate anyone and I guess anyone who is literate can tell which email will raise doubts. If ur query is valid then there is no issue. If ur application is all-right they wont reject you because you have been emailing them.

About what hassan said.. He got the visa because he faxed them a billion times everyday asking them to reconsider his application. Only then he was asked to submit his application again and finally got his visa.

You should read in detail before quoting!!

Hello Everbody,
I submitted my passport on 1st June without police certificate, got objection, applied again on 29 June , reapplied after medical on 24 July, going to UBC(on scholarship TA+RA) for MSc Physics , classes starting on 7 Sep. Still Waiting for visa.
I had 3 conversations on phone with my lady visa officer regarding the completion of my BSc (Hons) degree. English accent not very good. Does anyone know about this visa ofcr, looks a bit unfriendly? How much does scholarship help in getting visa?

Hello Everybody,

So I have an update, rcvd a letter from TCS today my little brother signed for it and woke me up when I was sleeping. CHC, New Delhi wanted two more X-ray, One was the Normal X-ray and the other was a Lordotic X Ray both are for the Chest Area. If you look at my previous comment from when I had an over the phone interview with a CHC Immigration Officers, she stated that she would make her decision on the 13 of August and Then I rcvd a letter from CHC, New Delhi which was originally sent out on the 10th of August.

The letter Time Line for New Delhi is as follow
10/08/2009 Document Mailed from New Delh
22/08/2009 Document rcvd in Karachi, Pakistan
24/08/2009 Document rcv by me in Lahore

The CHC immigration officer said that I would be getting documentation from CHC, New Delhi, and that she would be making the decision on 13/08/2009.

Has anybody or someone you know come across a similar situation and what was the Outcome.

Original Time Line in as follows

06/07/2009 Applied via Gerrys Fed Ex
23/07/2009 Completed Medical
27/07/2009 Returned PP via Gerrys Fed Ex
11/08/2009 Missed two call from CHC Immigration Officer
13/08/2009 Sent an E-mail to CHC, and was interviewed over the phone
24/08/2009 Letter rcvd from TCS stating I have to complete the medical once again
