drop my application on : 13/july
Got my medical : 21/july

took 7 days only ...

will take the appointment tomorrow ..

well i think following is your last time time line
applied on 20th oct. 2008
Medical letter on 30th oct 2008
re-submitted my passport on 10th Nov 2008

So as per CHC policies your medical is valid for 12 months so i think you should wait for a day or two but get an appointment from Dr. ( on another forum sabirna re-applied for study permit and they told her not to go for medical again and keep the passport )

"I recieved medical papers on 14th July 2009
Got call to cancel my medical appointment on 15th July 2009 as they already had my valid medical of last year. I asked them to return my passport but they wanted me to keep it & said that they will inform me for that later."

now thats a new twist .. i was told by a friend about the same case .. so any body here could suggest some thing ? should i email CHC about this ? or just simply wait for a day or 2 ... btw i think dont haf enough time to waste ... so any body has fast soultion to this problem?

Hey it can vary on case to case. Please dont listen to anybody but CHC.. do as it says. You can save money but you cant buy time.

Thanks for doing extra effort to help me ... i think wht other saying above is also true .. so i guess i should do what CHC wants me to do .. there is no problem in giving the medical again.

I never said that do not go for medical again. I said wait for 1 or 2 days BUT GET A DR. APPOINTMENT!
So as you said you will go for medical on friday so its all fine coz today is 2nd day so if you didnt get call from CHC today so you should go for medical FOR SURE ! ! !

I submitted my file to the embassy two weeks ago on July 6th
Got Medical Document 2 weeks Later on July 21st
Completed Medical Examination on July23rd

Questions, what should I do with my passport, should I just send it back??
