 @ AHC:
I would seriously recomend you to read this forum once and then ask whatever questions ur left with. Mostly rejections are made after the medical. Medical only means that ur documents are complete!!

and if we need to write expenses of one year then what should we write in 11 section? funds available for one year or total?  also advise that funds available means currently BALANCE available in the account or just average transactions should match up with the required amount?

@ ALL: guys use KISS METHODOLOGY KEEP IT SIMPLE AND SMART. guys my career counselor says beside tuition fee student needs atleast 20K a year to survive, and for total funds you will mention you total bank balance, and for cost section mention for 1yr.

Question 10 is to show the total cost of your program. This will always be mentioned on the relevant link within the University's website where you got accepted. Generally, if you are applying for a Bachelor's degree, the cost is usually 120 credits x the cost of each credit. In other cases they will give you the cost of the program for one year. Multiply that by 4 years. If you're applying for an MBA, the cost of the whole program is usually given to you excluding the years of study or number or credits you will study. The room and board expenses are your expenses for living in Canada. If you will be living with someone (such as a relative, etc) then just write $0 and in your letter explain your stay situation. If you will be living by yourself, you should write the amount it will cost for the whole of your duration.

Question 11 is for you to show the amount you have currently available. Don't show an estimate of a year if you have funds available for more than a year. This question is basically to show just how much money you have readily available; or available (period) for your total program and stay in Canada. This figure will be backed up by relevant documents like a bank statement and / or scholarship details or both.

Remember, it is advisable to show funds that will cover you for at least a year; that means 1 year of study + 1 year of stay.

i got a call from embassy at 3.30pm today. The women interviewed me asking about my program, fathers business, property and confirming O level result. Furthermore, she confirmed that my offer of admission is conditional(i just gave my A level exams) and i have to fulfill the condition before i am issued a visa. She said ur visa is processed and everything is in perfect order, now u will be granted visa when u produce your original A level result as soon as it is available. inshallah taala i will get it and everyone else also.

 @  Mugen:

Good for you mate. Best of luck for your result. I heard its coming out in the second week of august!! Best of luck man.

Today I was contacted by a lady from the high commission asking me all sorts of questions. I have had been called 5 times before and today i finally picked up after so many missed calls.. haha!! She was confused about my transcript and asked me a few questions about that. She has asked me for my dad's tax returns and his latest bank statements and also my original degree. She has asked me to submit the documents at the earliest and if i dont do so my procesing time can get delayed. I have collected everything except for the bank statements that i'll do tomorrow. I will mail everything by tomorrow!! I am very positive. Today was a good day!!

Hey Inq,

Great news, Haven't u submitted bank statement and degrees earlier ??

I am wondering why are they calling everybody from this forum :S... What exactly was she looking for I mean what was the main purpose of her call, was it to clear any ambiguity or was it confirmation call... BTW what are your qualifications and work-experience...

Regards,
