Timeline and LMO issues - Please help !!!

My employer is looking for Attorney and still in the process of applying LMO. Actually hasn't started yet as of now. I just have 3 month left before my Work permit get expired.

1. Do you think I can make it if they start the LMO process sometime soon including posting in the job bank or the paper? Is  3 month enough to do all LMO process along with renewing work permit with CIC and posting in the job bank ...??

2. What will be the consequences if just in case I haven't been able to receive my renewed work permit even after 3 month in my hand but was able to get positive LMO and application has been submitted to CIC?? Will I be illegal even though I have job and waiting for work permit to receive it in hand??

3. What do you think I should do just in case I get negative LMO? Is there way around??
