Hi my friend,
To your question:
My question is, if for example I go out of country for vacation for 1 month (1 Oct - 30 Oct), and lets say in the meantime Canadian Immigration office sends me some update/letter about my application, while I am not in the country, would that be a problem? If I don't reply to their letter, but only when I am back would that affect my application or delay it in some way other than those 30 days during which I am out of country?
Of course you can go peacefully for One month on vacation trip. Usually CIC give one month time to reply any of their requirement. If they ask for medical it could be time validity for 3 months. What you have to do is that in case you are going out of the country or a far place from your home town please let CIC know your e-mail address so that you can attend the e mail from any destination. Moreover, if possible, let any of your family member or relative or close friend get your local mail received in the address and communicate the matter with you over phone. That is up to you.
