Dear All,

What is the time/date validity for all the documents you need to send to CIC ? (police clearance, employment letter, etc) what is the maximum age of the document?

Example if the document is 1 year old, will it be acceptable? I plan to start collecting document, but might take 4 months to get them all. So if my police letter is 4 month old, will it be accepted, or employment letter is 8 months old. Or does everything have to be brand new.

sorry if this is confusing.

PCC - 3 months (Check if you really need right now as some needs it right away (VO-New Delhi) and some later)
IELTS -  1 year
Reference letter - Most updated (I guess with  in running month should be Ok. Better to mention the period until when your current job continues)

regards
