Time Line from CHC New Delhi after Medical

              so you sent your passport using canada post to CHC Delhi, correct?
and what's ur plan to get back your passport once approved?
will they mail it back to you in canada?

yes i sent my passport using canada post.........they not gonna send back to canada.....cuz they asked indian address to send back the passport..................i have some friends coming they will bring my passport (I will send authority letter to my friend)

Looking out for some help regarding my application status
My husband and I started the application process while in India with CHC New Delhi, but we had to shift to UAE in between(february 2012) as my husband got a job offer here!And by the time, we updated them on the change of address,we received our medicals request along with passport submission by 23 March 2012.So, our representative mentioned that they had forwarded the request to the concerned CHC authorities and to wait for a response from their end
.Then we received the medical forms in our UAE address on 06 May 2012 with no deadline for submission.We send the medicals within 2 weeks and will be sending the Indian PCC as well as UAE PCC by next week to CHC.However , will the CHC request us for the passport now or should we just simply submit it at the earliest date. We are in a fix because we are not in a position to stay away from work for more than a month.So we just want to make sure that , we would not have to wait for more than a month for the stamping as rules in UAE are really stringent and cannot afford an endless waiting time for the stamping..
So kindly advise if we should wait for the passport request or just hand over the passport at an earlier date to CHC ND!

wait for the passprot request or else your would hve trouble if things not done on proper time frame so never predict visa officer as they might take long time and in such case they dont waste time but in ur case time will be taken by vo as you are out of india hence they will gone throught the background check as well so wait and watch and dont submit pp untill they dont request you for it

Is somebody there who had applied with CHC ND under new process i.e. via CIC Nova Scotia after 01-Dec-2011.

Since this is a new process and applications are being accepted at a central office and it then sends back to related country CHC. Compare to previous process it looks to be time consuming and may take longer time while processing the application.

Any one who can share their experience on this pls update

Why is it taking so long? Any foreign travel history or previous job in army/police etc.?
It is so disheartening to see that one may have to wait for so long even after submitting the PPs. First you have to wait long long for medicals and then for visa.

Thanks for the concern mate. yeah its like m never gonna get it. I sent them an e-mail & got a reply that my background checks are going on as i have lived in NZ for abt 3 yrs. They didnt gave any time frame when it will be done? So lets see how its gonna end ?  can just pray .........

awesome, you gave me some hope . mine  status shown In process from  3 july,  i got medical request  pretty late by regular mail  on 24 july and done medical on 30 july.  so  hopefully  i will see my status  decision made  soon.  god bless us all

It takes DM up to 25days to send medicals to CHC, so you can expect ECAS update anytime between 10-20days from the day you did medicals
