Time line for Bucharest 2011

What I would like to know is how come it takes 6 months in say for e.g. Bucharest and 10 months for just 1st stage approval for inland applicants? Does it not take the same amount of time to do background checks on people whether you are in Bucharest or in Canada? Just a thought!

Inland applications take longer simply because there is no rush since both spouses are already together.

i don't really think they care if the spouses r together or not; if they would embassies like accra, abu-dhabi or singapore would b much faster....the problem is with the system, the regulations and the way they process

by the way bucharest embassy is small comparing with others and i'm sure people there work hard; 6 months for spouse is really a good time but they just have to consider in the same time other immigration classes, visitors etc and they work in parralel for all
