TIME FRAME

My husband and son are both candian citizens, with all his family residing in Canada.  We sent our application about 1 month ago to CPC Mississagua and I have just recently sent our medical receipts.  Does anyone have a rough idea how long it will take from now? I think this is pretty straight forward application.  I am a british citizen.  We have all been living in greece for the past 7 years so our office would be Italy has anyone else dealt with this office and what was the time frame.  Any responses would be welcomed.

I assume you only sent the medical receipts for your self.  Also I hope that you sent your police certificates as well, if not there will be delay in the processing at Rome.  It is about 3-8 months at Rome, if no interview is required.  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/05-fc-spouses.asp#europe

I sent medicals for both me and my son, as my son was born in greece.  I already sent my police check from the UK, as I spend 6 months in Greece and 6 months in the UK until recently where my mother passed away.  I spoke to the office in Athens that deal with police checks and they said as I was not a greek citizen I was to obtain from the country of birth.  I hope this will not delay my process as they will not issue to me.  I also have a friend that works for the police department there and he told me the same.

a thought came to mind, i had my medicals done and im planning to send in my app at the end of the month, my state checks 3 month date is november 9, can i send them in before my app? will they pair it up like they do my medical?

IF your son is a Canadian through the father's Canadian citizenship, then he is not included in the application.  You are going to be request to obtain a police certificate from Greece.  Follow the instructions here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/europe/greece.asp
