Hi world,
After receiving my file number from Sydney in Canada, they asked me to submit my final application to New Delhi embassy... I have submitted the application to the ND Office in end of September... but till date, I have got no further communication.
My agent said, that they will give me a new file number, the older file number was just for Sydney office, who have validated my job.
I heard that other people used to get there 2nd file number in 1 month, but its been 3 months I have submitted my application...
Can anyone please tell me what should be my next step?

Some cases it takes more time. One my younger brother got his second file number after (after sending his full documents with IELTS score) six months later from London VO. So be patience. |

I am in the same boat rashcanada,
Ask your consultant to send a case specific enquiry and you will get to know your status soon.
When I did the same I was told that they received my application and they will inform me with the file number if everything is fine, If not I will be asked again to submit supporting documents.
Anyway I hope I will get a reply in the early January 2011. My documents was sent on Oct 11, 2010. But I could see many guys send their documents in November also got their file numbers.
Anyway keep cool and new year will bring some good news for us.
These things are a bit beyond our control. Stay cool and enjoy your new year.

What after that? How much time are they taking now a days after 2nd file number?
It varies VO to VO, wait and see. I think from January, 2011 everything will more dynamic. |

Have you received acknowledgement from ND VO?
Can you see your file status in eCAS?

You need a file no. which one you will get from first AOR. select immigration file no from list,in-put last name whichn is called family name, date of birth according to your passport and your country of birth. |
