I have applied for FBI report, as I was asked to resubmit it.
If anyone has applied recently & got it; can you please share how much time it is taking now?


In 2009 it took 10+ weeks, but I read that it is taking 6 weeks now; is it correct?

in 2010 I got within 2week after FBI recieved my courier, but still it's slow , count maximum 13weeks. if you dont get within 10weeks please write or call to FBI number. search in this forum you will get FBI email and numbers too.

yes, but from inside USA, first I sent printed paper finger print , just download A4 size paper, the FBI office return to me and they sent original forms, becasue my local police dont have these forms, I sent back with original forms which sent by FBI office and I get FBI report in 2weeks (FBI Report of mine and my wife), even my and my wife California state DOJ live scan came within 2weeks.

May be they have improved the system.... and it takes 6 or less weeks.

i got mine in 7 weeks in 2010.... so u r gonna get sooner than me at least Smiley ..

My docs reached on 8th June, as per FBI site they are taking up to 6 weeks.
So I am expecting report around 15th July.

I had applied for my FBI cert in April 2011 and they did tell me over the phone that it would take six weeks at the time.  But they took just a week to process my request believe it or not.  I was really surprised.  You can contact them by email or the phone. Check out their web site for details.

I sent from Colorado USA , I got my FBI report within 5 working weeks (Mon-Fri) it's fast I can say but it's from inside USA.

You can phone or email them (it's on their website -see a previous post here for the website) and provide details such as your name, date of birth and when you sent your application to them.  Tell them that you have a deadline to meet and would appreciate it if they can oblige so that you can meet the deadline.  Hope this helps.  Mwansaa
